Credits

Credits are our internal currency and translate to a certain amount of USD (US Dollars), depending on your plan. We use credits to calculate pull request (PR) costs and track developer work on our platform. Each task and PR has a credit cost, which we submit for your approval before work begins. At the end of each month, we calculate your bill based on your monthly usage and the pricing plan.

How credits work

You spend credits on each PR you merge, and we bill you for your usage at the end of each month based on the number of credits you used and your pricing plan.

There is one key difference between the Indie plan and other accounts:

  • On the Indie plan, you incur credit usage based on the PRs that you merge.
  • On the Team and Enterprise accounts, you can also purchase prepaid credits.

Check your credit usage

There are several ways to find out how many credits you use in a month.

  • See usage for the month in progress. This page shows how much credit you’ve used this month. We show the details for each instance, and you can download the data as a .csv file from the top right corner of the screen.
  • See usage for past months. Check your monthly usage in the Billing section. The Usage tab gives an overview, and selecting a month provides detailed breakdowns, including credits and refunds.

Note: months with no credit usage are not displayed.
